Now we confront ourselves with a new fear ... the swine flu. This new virus is causing an increasing number of people getting severely sick in other countries and is quickly spreading.
The new strain if virus is a combination of human, bird and pig flu viruses. An influenza virus changes and becomes a new strain against which people have little or no immunity causing a severe illness in the people that do not have a strong immune system.

The symptoms of the swine flu are:
• fever
• lethargy
• lack of appetite
• coughing
Some people with swine flu have also reported:
• runny nose
• sore throat
• nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
